Improve Water,  Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) School by School!

Einsatzort Kitale Kenia

Our pilot projects are located in Mukuyu /Makoi Village, a rural village in Kitale, western Kenya under the County Government of Trans-Nzoia in Rift Valley Province. The village is blessed with 5 christian churches, 1 primary school, 2 secondary schools and a technical college.

Kitale is a hilly, agricultural town with rich fertile soils, streams and rivers. It experiences regular annual rainfalls from April to September.  The villagers practice small-scale subsistence farming. For income, they mainly rely on corn/maize, the main cash crop cultivated in the region and milk from their livestock.
